Was Nicola Sturgeon wrong to criticise Jeremy Corbyn over A50 bill?

February 9, 2017

Are the Tories getting away with their EU shenanigans once again, thanks to unnecessary infighting on the left?

Jeremy Corbyn had some prominent members of the Twitterati quite hot under the collar when referring to the government bill triggering the UK’s withdrawal from the EU:

Some notable pro-EU politicians such as Nicola Sturgeon and Caroline Lucas reacted with anger, with Sturgeon even going so far as to call his response “Pathetic” and saying that he had handed the Tories a “blank cheque”.

This line of attack has left Tory commentators rubbing their hands with glee, as they once again get away with far greater sins.

Meet your MP: A Guide To The Crooked And Cruel – Jeremy Hunt

February 4, 2017

UK politics is characterised by it’s astonishing number of knaves, crooks, criminals, exploiters and liars.

As such, I thought it might be useful to offer a comprehensive breakdown of any MPs whose behaviour may be particularly offensive, hypocritical or corrupt.

Every week, I plan on breaking down an MP who is on the take, on the make or should be given a good shake (I was struggling for rhyming words there, I admit). I’ll give a brief bio on them, what they purport to stand for and what their interests and actions actually reveal about them.

Theresa May’s Sham Pledge To End British Global Aggression

February 1, 2017

Theresa May has embarrassed the UK with her fawning, hypocritical speech in the US.

Anti-Trump Protests Worldwide (and in Auld Reekie!)

January 30, 2017

Something is happening globally that hasn’t happened since the demonstrations against the 2003 Iraq War.

A recognition that American foreign policy is growing even more aggressive and belligerent, even in the cosy and sheltered parts of the world.

When you get thousands of Edinburgh citizens angry enough to march down the Royal Mile, an event set up barely 24 hours previously, you know that something is afoot.

And Donald Trump is the spark that ignited this popular resistance.

BRITISH RAILWAYS: WHO ARE THEY FOR AND WHY ARE THEY FAILING? (BITE SIZE)

January 26, 2017

The British railways are in a state of chaos.

Trains are losing their ability to serve the British public, thanks to huge price hikes, privatisation and inept governmental oversight.

While the cost of rail travel skyrockets, the quality of the service continues to drop.

Prices are soaring across networks at inflation-busting levels. Delays and cancellations are rife. Strikes are now commonplace, and the public are often unable to access services or find members of staff.

And the Conservative Party is unwilling to do anything about this.
